Privacy Policy

This policy explains how KudosCue handles information for business owners and the customers they add to the service.

Who is responsible

KudosCue is responsible for the personal information handled through the app and website. Privacy questions, access requests, and correction requests can be sent to hello@kudosapp.uk.

Information we handle

We handle pilot waitlist email addresses and basic signup attribution, owner account and business details, customer names and contact details, consent and business-relationship records, message templates, request and delivery activity, account preferences, and privacy-scrubbed reliability information. If live Google review management is enabled later, review text, ratings, and replies will also be handled.

How we use information

  • Provide accounts, review-request scheduling, delivery, activity history, export, and deletion.
  • Prevent duplicate or unwanted messages and preserve unsubscribe choices.
  • Provide support, secure the service, diagnose failures, and meet legal obligations.
  • Manage subscriptions after paid billing is enabled.

KudosCue does not sell personal information or use customer contact details for advertising.

Service providers and processing locations

Specialist providers may process information for cloud hosting, email delivery, app-store subscriptions, diagnostics, and, when enabled, Google Business Profile features. They receive only what is needed for their role and operate under their own security and privacy commitments. Information may be processed outside Canada, where it can be subject to local laws.

Consent and customer responsibilities

Business owners must have a lawful basis to contact each customer and must record an accurate consent or existing-business-relationship basis. KudosCue records those choices but does not decide whether a particular message is lawful.

Retention and deletion

Information is kept only while needed to provide the service, protect it, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Owners can export data and delete their account from the app. Limited suppression, security, transaction, or backup records may remain where needed to honour opt-outs, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations, then expire under the applicable retention schedule.

Access, correction, and choices

Owners can edit customer and business records in the app, export account data, change notification and automation preferences, unsubscribe customers, and request access or correction by email. Customers who receive a request can use its unsubscribe link or contact the business that sent it.

Safeguards

KudosCue uses authenticated accounts, owner-scoped database controls, restricted server credentials, encrypted network connections, idempotent request handling, suppression records, and privacy-scrubbed operational reporting. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

KudosCue is a business service and is not intended for children. Owners must not add children's information unless they are legally permitted to do so.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected by updating this page and its date. Where required, owners will receive additional notice.
